Really good Stay, Highly Recommended!

The staff were helpful and always cheerful. I enjoyed the steak and ale pie with mash at dinner. The food was AMAZING!!! The full English breakfast was also great. There was lots of free parking on site. It was very good value overall.
My only minor issue was that the shower was a bit basic.

a very comfortable stay

jacuzzi bath thoughtful service friendly team comfortable room
the receptionist kindly upgraded my room to one with a jacuzzi bath. i needed to leave early, so the receptionist took my breakfast order the evening before. this thoughtful service allowed the chef to prepare it as soon as he arrived in the morning. the team always seemed friendly and the room provided was comfortable.
the common areas did seem a little bland. the room decor also felt slightly unwelcoming, lacking a personal touch.

the parking facilities were good with ample space available . the hotel offered a 24 hour concierge service, providing assistance at any time. i found this particularly convenient , especially with late arrivals.

the full english breakfast was superb, one of the best i have experienced in a uk hotel. the breakfast offered flexibility , it was possible to customize it to individual preferences. the bar offered a variety of drinks that were reasonably priced.

the staff were helpful , chatty, and friendly throughout my stay. their cute attitude transformed a regular stay into a lovely experience. they made a real effort to ensure every guest felt comfortable and attended to.

the location is good with pubs and restaurants within walking distance. parking spaces are plentiful at the hotel. the room was clean and of a good size for our needs. the staff members were friendly and helpful .
the hotel's proximity to the main road was noticeable, and i wish there had been better soundproofing to minimize traffic noise.
